Whether bangers, custard pies, or steak-and-mushroom pies, this place nails tender, flaky crusts. You’ll find these pies on Highway 27 by getting off at Ridge Center Drive.
Bamboo Wok
Up Highway 27, near Sand Mine Road, you’ll find Bamboo Wok, a take-out centered place for Chinese. It’s the NYC-style Chinese take-out that Americans love. The service is fast, and the food is hot and fresh when you receive it. If there’s a long line, don’t be deterred – you might be amazed how quickly they can get people in and out! The portions are big, too. It’s open until 11 p.m. as well, so keep it in mind for late-night cravings.
